Это больше похоже на развитие 5D. От 4D тут очень мало... форма кузова напоминает седан, хотя может быть и хетчбек (смотря как багажник открывается), подлиннее чем 5D, но на сивку 4Д не похож

ИМХО: не нравится

Глядя на все последние тендениции, ничего хорошего не жду.
Хорошо хоть нынешняя 4D не очень устаревает.

Спереди уж очень смахивает на фолькцваген

Что-то больше на нынешний Honda City похож...

Да на сити он реально очень похож

Due to the success of the Freed mini-van and the runaway success of the Insight hybrid in Japan, Honda is considering changing its focus of the Civic. Although the Civic Type R is still popular, it isn't as nearly as popular as before, and consequently Honda is considering making the Civic more specialized as a Hybrid platform.

Although the 2-box hatchback was popular when it was introduced in 1972, by the 90s the popularity and sales of hatchbacks declined. Consequently hatchbacks became a Europe-only model.

In Japan car sizes are delineated by license plate numbers, and with a total size measuring over 4.5 meters, the Civic could no longer be considered a compact, "city person's car."As a result, sales have been on the decline.

Since the current-gen does not have much of a presence, Honda is considering positioning the Civic as geared towards a Hybrid-specialized car. They hope by doing so that the brand value would increase, and possibly that Honda will position the Civic as a more upscale version than the Insight. As such, the Civic might become a direct competitor to the Prius, which is priced higher than the Insight.

Within the company, the next-gen Civic has the code name 2HC, and are aiming for monthly sales of 900 a month.

Overseas, it's expected that the Civic will use gasoline engines, but the exact engine has yet to be determined. Given the success of the current-gen Civic overseas (US, Europe), the line-up is likely to not change abroad: coupes and sedans for the US, and Fit-platform-based 3-dr and 5-dr hatchbacks for Europe.

What about the Type R? Right now, it's confirmed that the Type R with a sedan is not being planned, both domestic and overseas.

Если убрать 18 - е (или какие там) диски и немного скошенный зад, то получится 100 % - фолькс Пассат. Задолбали уже, они что, теперь каждые пол - года будут модели менять ? Не успеешь заказать, а машина уже устарела, пошла следующая модель ? )) Придется создавать клубы " Сивик Январь 2009, Сивик Май 2009, Сивик .............и т.д." )) Причем, учитывая политику Хонды в этом плане, отличаться они будут все немного другим углом наклона фар или "новым типом" противотуманок..................маразм, короче !

маразм, это десятилетние фиаты потом еще сорок лет тазами выпускать без изменений.
А новая модель раз в пять лет это нормально и рейстайлинг с фейслифтингом через три года тоже нормально.

А зарисовка задней частью на всякие гибриды примусом и инсайтов похожа.
